House removals in Shepherd's Bush
From a first rented flat by the Green to a family house off Askew Road or an apartment in a White City tower, a home move deserves a plan built around the property. Here’s how we run one — and how renting, buying and student moves differ.
Renting — a flat move
W12 turns over a lot of tenancies, and a rented move has its own pressures: a fixed check-out date, a deposit riding on the state you leave the place in, and often a tight terraced street or a block with no lift. We work to the date, protect the floors and communal areas so nothing gets marked, and can fold in packing if you’re short on time between finishing work and handing back the keys.
Buying — a house move
A purchase is a bigger job with a completion that can move under your feet. We survey the whole house, agree what you’re packing and what we are, and turn up with the crew and vehicle the job actually needs. Floors and doorways are protected, rooms are worked one at a time, and the van is loaded to a plan so it comes off in a sensible order at the new place. If the date slips, one point of contact means you’re not re-explaining it to a stranger.
A student move
Around White City and towards Hammersmith there’s a steady flow of student moves — a room, a shared flat, a summer clear-out into storage. These are quick when they’re planned: a smaller crew, the right-sized van, and none of the overkill of a full house move. Ask early in summer, when everyone moves at once.
What’s included
- A survey — video walk-round or a visit — and an itemised written quote
- Protection for floors, doorways and communal areas
- Dismantling and reassembly of beds, wardrobes and flat-pack
- Optional full or part packing, labelled and inventoried
- Goods-in-transit and public liability cover throughout
Want the boxes handled too? Our packing service covers the lot, and if the dates don’t line up, storage folds straight into the same plan.
Home removals — common questions
Do you do small flat moves as well as houses?
Yes — a studio or one-bed is just as welcome as a whole house. We match the crew and van to the job, so a small move doesn’t pay for a big one, and a big move has enough hands to finish in good order.
Will you dismantle and rebuild furniture?
We take apart what needs it — beds, wardrobes, flat-pack that won’t make the stairs — and put it back together where it’s going. The period flats around the Green throw up plenty of pieces that won’t turn a tight landing, and we plan those at the survey.
Can you fit around an end-of-tenancy date?
Yes — we work to your check-out date and leave the place clean so the deposit comes back without a fight. Tell us the date and the access and we’ll build the plan around it.
What if my new place isn’t ready the same day?
Common in a chain. We can hold your things in secure storage and deliver when the keys come through, so you’re not forced into a same-day move that doesn’t suit you.
Ready to plan your move?
Send us where you’re moving from and to, and roughly what needs to travel. We’ll read it properly and email back a clear, itemised quote. No obligation.
